Vintage Gibson guitars are quite popular and the guitars made by Gibson between 1920 and the late 1970s are usually considered to be vintage. Of course some experts out there don’t totally agree, feeling that the models considered vintage started out in the 1930’s. Even some of the models made in the 1980s are bringing in high prices, although they are not really vintage because they have been produced and constructed with modern materials and production methods.
